POULTICES

Poultices are a wonderful way to ease pain and tension in the body.

They are easy to prepare and make and well worth the effort.

The Herbs suitable for poultice – my favorite is lavender, simply go out to your plant cut of a nice long stalk with lots of green on it, it doesn’t matter if it’s flowering or not. It doesn’t matter if it’s dry or fresh.

TO NAME A FEW

IT IS BETTER TO HAVE A COMBINATION OF ABOUT 4-6 DIFFERENT HERBS

AS YOU LEARN TO USE HERBS USE THE HERBS SAFELY

NEVER TAKE ANY HERB INTERNALLY UNLESS YOU ARE SURE

IT IS SAFE TO TAKE OR USE AND MAKE SURE IT IS UN-POLLUTED.

DIRECTIONS        –        Take a good two handfuls or more of Herb, put in a pot, just cover with water, bring to boil, with tongs put in a tea-towel or pillowcase, apply to painful area as hot as possible without burning the skin, sit, relax, sip water, visualize the area healing and being healthy.  Your Body will only respond in a healing way.

YOU MAY RE-USE THE HERB MATTER FOR 24 HOURS OR MORE

I OFTEN JUST ADD MORE FRESH HERB TO MY POULTICE AND RE-HEAT AND IT’S VERY NICE.
