Onion Soup 
Take two red onions, two brown onions, two white onions and one leak.
Peel and slice all onions, sauté in a pan until lightly brown. Place in a pot with 2 L of chicken stock bring to the boil.
Serve with a slice of toast, and grated cheese on top.

Garlic Soup
1 kg Garlic- organic is best 
2 brown onions
Peel and dice
sauté in a little butter until lightly brown
add 1 1/2 - 2 litre chicken stock
bring to boil and simmer for 5 minute
Blend, and I like to add a little fresh cream or blue vein cheese
If you are worried about your breath, chew peppermint leaves.
