Each and every person is the owner of a very unique Body.  The reality is that what may be extremely good and even Healing for one Body, will turn out to be a cause of illness in another.

No generalizations can be made to an individual.  No one Standard Diet or Eating Plan can work for all.  Long ago in the future we would only eat those foods that served the individual.  Each individual knows when he/she is eating well, energy levels are high, and illness is nowhere.  I have met many people in clinic that have many annoying little ills like irritated Sinus, Hay fever, Skin Conditions.  They all say I’m really healthy if not for this little irritation.  These little irritations are the outward sign that all is not right inside the Body.  Of course the manifestation of illness and deficiencies has to start somewhere.

Another factor is how our health affects our mind.  Think about it for a moment.  When you are unwell or in pain how do you feel mentally.  In pain we don’t feel like eating, but it is the most important thing for the body to heal.  Our ‘Poor Me’ drops in, this negative subconscious part of our self is working against a healthy, happy self.  The only way to change this is to draw upon our Will Power.  I find myself working against my poor me by going to Yoga when I don’t feel like it, I will say to myself I don’t feel up to it and so on.  I drag myself off to Yoga and I am so glad after.  No change will happen if you don’t draw upon your will to get better health for yourself.

CHEW FOOD WELL  – Enzyme action starts with Saliva

EAT MORE RAW FOODS  – The way Nature intended us to eat

DON’T DRINK COLD DRINKS BEFORE OR WITH OR AFTER A MEAL

This stops the digestive process; the body digests food at body temperature, if you cool it the body must bring it back up to temperature before digestion can occur.  As foods vary in their digestive time slowing down or stopping the process in the Stomach means that food passes down to the Small Intestines in a state not broken down enough.  Fewer Nutrients can therefore be absorbed and utilised in the body as Nutritional Chemistry.  When we are in a state of deficiency we need every ounce we can eat & assimilate and cannot afford to waste a cent.

ROOM TEMPERATURE DRINKS ARE FINE

However a factor here is that if you drink too much – anything more than an occasional sip to wet your mouth and lips – Creates an excess of fluid in the Mouth watering down Enzymes in Saliva which is the first step in Digestion, now the Stomach contains Hydrochloric Acid and Enzymes to break down and dissolve food into Molecules and Particles which may be assimilated in the Small Intestine.  If you dilute this Chemistry down, not all the food is broken down.   This also leaves indigestible matter to rot in the Bowel, which is potential Bowel Cancer.

GOOD REGULAR EATING PATTERNS AND HABITS ARE ESSENTIAL DIGESTIVE STIMULANTS

By eating at the same time each day our system can utilise its body clock to activate the Digestive System, thus enhancing Breakdown and Assimilation of Nutrients.  You get more for your money and your body is the winner.

LIGHT REGULAR EXERCISE IMPROVES APPETITE AND DIGESTION

We all know the feeling of a huge appetite after exercise.  If we eat well we feel well.  If we eat junk we feel like a blob.  Exercise stimulates Metabolism in the body.  I think we all understand how vital Metabolism is to Health.  All body Systems are activated, thus creating improved health levels in general, a feeling of Well-being.  We should have a drink after exercise, wait 1/2 hour at least for the body to return blood flow to the Internal Organs to enhance Digestion.  –  Reduced blood in the Stomach Impairs Digestion.  DURING EXERCISE BLOOD IS DISPERSED TO THE MUSCLES FOR MOVEMENT.

GOOD POSTURE WHILST EATING IS AS VITAL AS GOOD POSTURE

In yoga we are taught to sit on our heals with perfect posture for 20 minutes after a meal so as not too crush the Digestive Organs and Processes.  We all know the feeling of sitting incorrectly after a large meal now if we just see that even a small meal is affected in the same way.

The effect of crushing the Stomach impairs movement; the Stomach is like a big washing machine, washing the food around to assist transformation from chunks of food to a liquid matter.

EATING IN A HURRY, FLURRY OR WORRY

 The Nervous System plays a major role in digestion, if you are stressed digestion is impaired.  If you are stressed or Worried take the time to put on some relaxing music, do a few Deep Breathing Exercises, take a walk around the garden, look at a nice relaxing View or anything to clear your mind.  Then eat.  In all circumstances undigested food rots in the Bowel.

DON’T RELY ON LAXATIVES FOR YOUR TOILETRY HABITS

It is far better to utilise natural foods to innovate your bowel.  Laxatives create a Lazy Bowel, which leads to trouble in the long run.  High Fiber Foods, Prunes, and Yogurt assist your body not make it lazy.

DON’T MISS A MEAL

Even if you are not hungry have a little something anyway eg. A piece of fruit or a juice.  Your body still needs at least the Vitamins and Minerals for the many processes that are going on.

THE BOWEL NEEDS MOISTURE FOR THE PROCESSES OF RIDING THE BODY OF WASTE

Stimulus and Movement are fluid motion.  Dried food works against this process by impacting the Bowel e.g. Cereals, Bran, and Flour.  These cause unbalance in the INTESTINAL FLORA vital for Vitamin K & B12 production.  Nerve Responses to the Bowel is also interfered with if the bowel is impacted & dry, movement is reduced.  I feel it is Vital to have Natural Yogurt daily to keep the colonies of Acidophilus Culture in adequate amounts in the bowel.  DON’T EAT DRY, PROCESSED OR OVER COOKED FOOD.  If you have a problem here take 1/2 teaspoon of SLIPPERY ELM BARK POWDER before each meal, over a six-month period you will really notice the difference.

EAT FOOD AT ROOM TEMPERATURE

Excessively cold food dilates the diaphragm, which can cause chest pains.  Food in the stomach must be bought to body temperature before digestion can occur.  This burns energy to extract energy – a waste of energy.  Hot food must cool to room temperature to be digested also.

 

EAT RAW FOOD AT A MEAL BEFORE COOKED FOOD

Raw food has a more rapid digestive time than Cooked food, which is slower to digest.  Eating Cooked food first causes fermentation in digestion and gas is produced.

LOOK AT YOUR FOOD SO YOUR BRAIN CAN INSTRUCT YOUR DIGESTIVE SYSTEM

Using the Sense Organs of Digestion – SIGHT, SMELL, TASTE

Using Sight and Smell first the Brain Activates the necessary Enzymes to be secreted to assist in the breakdown of foods.  The Brain instructs and enervates Via the Nervous System the Organs of digestion i.e. LIVER, GALL BLADDER, PANCREAS and also the IMMUNE SYSTEM and LYMPHATIC.  Without these Processes coming into play Digestion would not occur.

AVOID COFFEE AND CHOCOLATE WHEN EATING

Their chemistry stops gastric secretions, impairing the process of Digestion.  You may have these but not prior to or within an hour or two (depending on the Digestive Time of your meal) of eating.

TEA SHOULD BE TAKEN PRIOR TO A MEAL

Taken before eating it stimulates the Digestive Process.  Taking it during or after eating impairs Digestion.

ALCOHOL IS BEST PRIOR TO A MEAL OR AT 1 HOURLY INTERVAL DURING A LONG MEAL

Excessive alcohol reduces absorption of most Vitamins and Minerals.  A nice glass of wine with a Long Evening Meal is very relaxing but also has shown now to prevent High Cholesterol Levels.  A Brandy is a Heart Tonic.  Again don’t water down Enzymes.

THINK POSITIVE WHILE EATING

Thinking about food in a negative way creates a negative pattern of assimilation of nutrients.  If you are overweight and feel guilty about eating change your thinking and eating patterns.  Eat in a relaxed manner, enjoy your food.  Your body will respond in a positive fashion for you.  I have watched many people loose weight by changing the way they think about eating.  Healthy eating reduces the desire to eat that which we know is bad for us.  If your body is not deficient of Vitamins or Minerals you will not crave.  These Cravings are a message from your body to feed it something real.  Your Training and Patterns of the past draw you to eat junk.  Use your Willpower to change this negative pattern.  It won’t take long for you to see the difference.

CLEANSING REACTIONS IN GENERAL

METALLIC TASTE IN THE MOUTH

I’ve included this here because most people start to notice this more once they change their eating habits to a healthy one.  The reason is once the body starts to cleanse, Inorganic minerals move from the tissues into circulation to be cleansed from the body.  Some examples of these are past Inorganic Ointments, Medications, Pesticides, Synthetic Minerals and Metals like Sulfur, Lead, Mercury and so on.  This is a positive thing on a body level as the aim of healing the Body starts with the Process of Cleansing.   This process may also produce Skin Irritations, Boils, and even rashes due to the fact that toxins in the internal Organs must be flushed to the skin to be picked up in the Peripheral Circulation to be cleansed from the Body.  If you are concerned talk to your Natural Therapist about ways to improve or slow the cleanse – whatever is appropriate.  Drink warm Lemon & Honey hourly to assist in the oxidation of metals and radiation.

NAUSEA    –           Stomach fluids are cleansing, Nicotine or mucous may be clearing from the                             stomach.  Drink Ginger and Lemon balm tea with a little honey to taste, the                                  Nausea will disappear as quickly as it arrived.  The Ginger should be freshly                                   sliced Organic Ginger.

HEAVY, TIRED, FATIGUED FEELING

This is known as a General Cleansing Malaise.  All tissues and fluids are under strain of clearing waste from the body.  Rest; Drink plenty of water it will pass in a day or two.  Some people cleanse quickly and notice this 3 weeks into changing their eating patterns or starting an Herbal Program.  It usually becomes Cyclic for a few months.  Occurring about once a month until the level of toxins in the body are reduced to a level that the body can cope with without putting strain on the Organs.  A nice process once it is completed.  You will feel the difference in you energy levels quickly.

HEADACHES

ACHES & PAINS

Microwaves are a NON-IONISING form of Radiation that is they lack the ability to create ions such as those associated with Radiation from Radium, X-rays or Nuclear Weapons.  Microwave is not radioactive.  Nevertheless, studies have shown a NEGATIVE effect on Human Health.  More research needs to be done to establish the exact effect on Humans.  Microwave is known to destroy the enzymes in food cooked.  Enzymes are a vital nutrient in our diet and we are all enzyme deficient now.  Just this affect on enzymes is one none of us can afford.

I feel if you use aluminum pots daily, daily you intake aluminum in your food, – low levels maybe, consider the accumulative affects over a lifetime.

The low levels of aluminum that may be ingested combine with Phosphorous in the Human Intestine and form an INSOLUBLE COMPOUND, ALUMINIUM PHOSPHATE.  When this occurs, the remaining phosphorous level may be inadequate for proper functioning of the SYMPATHETIC NERVOUS SYSTEM.  Also, the Phosphorous may no longer be available for CALCIUM ABSORPTION and UTILISATION.   There has been a suggestion that Aluminum, by depriving the body of sufficient calcium, may be indirectly responsible for many allergic symptoms.

“ In my opinion, the effects of Aluminum compounds, the passing into the Human System by absorption, are poisonous to all forms of life, including the Higher Animals.”    He states that not only Blood, Nervous Tissues, Kidneys, and other organs are poisoned or destroyed by Aluminum compounds when they gain access to the body by absorption from ingested foods, but that the REPRODUCTIVE ORGANS are affected first, even before any symptoms are manifested.

 DID YOU KNOW   Many Antacids contain Aluminum, this has been suspected as a cause of Dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and the erosion of joints leading to things like hip replacements and so on.   Many Infant Milk Formulas contain Aluminum in quantities enough to be suspected for Congenital Kidney diseases, even Alzheimer’s disease – yes years later.  Formula has been suspected in cases of sudden death of 2 infants developing Neurological Symptoms at 1 & 3 months.  High concentrations of Aluminum the cause.  These two babies had the same brand of Formula; other brands were tested and found to have equally high levels of Aluminum.

FOOD ADDITIVES

Much has been written on this subject and the more I read about this, the more I avoid them.

SOME FACTS FOR YOU TO CONSIDER

On average, the general Public consumes more than 4 pounds of Chemical Preservatives, Stabilizers, Colorings, Flavorings and other additives per person each year, and the amount increases each year.  Today, more than 3,000 Chemicals are deliberately added to our foods.  The public wrongly assumes that all chemicals contained in foods and drugs have been tested for safety and effectiveness.  THIS IS NOT TRUE.  Many Hundreds of chemicals “generally regarded as SAFE” HAVE NEVER BEEN FULLY TESTED.   Some Food Additives produce CHEMICAL CHANGES IN THE FOOD ITSELF by ALTERING IT’S BIOLOGICAL STRUCTURE.  Others may COMBINE with constituents naturally present in the food to form TOXIC COMPOUNDS.  Others may produce DERANGEMENT’S in the Human System and be so insidious that their presence does not become apparent until long after the original exposure – many up to 30 years later.  Because of this time lapse they are not even suspected as the problem.  Toxicological Studies of a chemical Food Additive are further compounded by SYNERGISM in the Human System.  Testing of Additives involves experimentation on Animals; Rats & Mice are usually used to determine the amount of additive that can be tolerated by the Human population.  Evidence shows that NEWBORNS and VERY YOUNG CHILDREN are particularly susceptible to the effects of Chemical Substances.  Cancer, A.D.H.D, Immune System Damage

and Birth Defects are on the rise and I feel we need to consider all SYNTHETIC CHEMISTRY as a risk factor.  We need to be aware and I realize not everyone has the time to read the information about all additives, pesticides etc. but also many people simply do not want to as it’s a scary subject and many people feel there is nothing they can do about it.  YOU CAN MAKE A STATEMENT BY NOT PURCHASING THESE SUBSTANCES.  It is a Commercial Industry and YOUR MONEY TALKS.

COWS WON’T DRINK MILK – WHY DO YOU

This is another massive subject & debate, I’ll try to keep it simple.  Human infants need Mother's Milk; Most Humans have at least a low level allergy to Lactose.   Another factor is that lactase – an enzyme found in the Intestines breaks down Lactose in milk is only secreted in small amounts, usually not enough for the amount of milk being consumed.  Leading to may digestive disorders.  Studies done have shown that many people have a Lactase Deficiency particularly Brown Eyed Races.   Rennin an enzyme necessary in the coagulation of milk, a step in the break down for absorption diminishes in Humans with the arrival of the first teeth, by the age of 8 years it not produced any more.

 Allergic symptoms include:

*     REPEATED VOMITING

*     ECZEMA

*     RECURRENT ATTACKS OF NASAL CONGESTION

*     RECURRENT BRONCHITIS

*     ATHEROSCLEROSIS  – DISEASE OF THE ARTERIES

 

MOST INFANTS SHOW ALLERGIC SYMPTOMS WITHIN 3 DAYS OF FIRST INGESTING COW'S MILK.

Recently I was watching the news and it said a new study showed that Pasteurizing Milk converted Bacteria to small particles, which look like a Virus.  Intake would produce an immune response similar to that of flu.  I believe that daily ingestion weakens the Immune System considerably.

Cow's milk contains a relatively large amount of Phosphorous, which may impair the intake of calcium and magnesium by infants, if this happens, nerve cells are adversely affected and the infant may suffer from convulsions.  It is also suspected that some infants may have such a severe allergic reaction to cows milk as to lead to Cot Death, certainly one fact is that Cot Death is more common in bottle fed babies.  Breast is Best.

OTHER FACTORS TO CONSIDER

When I do an Iridology I see signs of excess mucous accumulation in the digestive tract, this is a direct result of drinking milk.  When this is seen the Small Intestine Villa are coated with mucous in an attempt to prevent the allergen passing into the body.  The fact is once this happens the absorption of Vitamins, Minerals and trace elements is hampered.  Once absorption is affected like this health can only weaken.

As a substitute I recommend a mix of 1/2 cup cream 1/2 cup purified water or 1/2 cup yogurt 1/2 cup purified water.  Cream dose not have the same chemical make-up as milk and I have noticed many people respond nicely to the change.

SUGAR IS A PROBLEM

I recommend changing from using sugar to fresh unprocessed Honey.  Sugar is difficult to give up for most people especially children, allow a transition period.  Everyone gets use to the change we like Wildflower honey it is lighter than the others.  Sugar is understood as a health risk and many people understanding this switched to sugar substitutes.   Research now shows all these synthetic sugars to produce a serious risk for cancer.

WATER

Purified water is best

In general you need 35 ml per kg of body weight daily.

Have a small sip or drink every 20 minutes to hydrate the body.

Most people that buy filters don’t change the filters enough and leach very dangerous amounts of heavy metal back into their water making it more toxic than tap water.  Purified water tests up at 6 to 70 parts per billion as opposed to tap water of about 450 ppb in most suburbs in Perth.  Our tap water is disgusting and we don’t realize because we can’t taste it.  When you taste this purified water you’ll never drink tap water again.  One really excellent effect is once you start drinking it your thirst increases, this leads to better hydration in the body.  When the water in Perth is filter using the Ozone Method I will give up my purifier not before.

OLIVE OIL      It’s the best Healthy oil and we need oil for Hormone Production, to reduce Cholesterol, Coats Nerves, every cell in our body surrounded by a membrane, which needs oil.    Olive oil stimulates digestion and the appetite.  Much has been written on the subject of oil simply put reject the rest.

BUTTER VERSUS MARGARINE  – margarine is synthetic and on a health level butter is the best.  Margarine has been linked with Diseases of the Arteries.  They know when you switch to butter the damage is reversed over time.

SYNTHETIC VITAMINS & MINERALS

HIGH QUALITY NATURAL SUPPLEMENTS ARE THE ONLY RECOMMENDED SUPPLEMENTS.
